The Titanium Nitride coating increases performance and resistance to edge wear resulting in a tool that last an average of three times longer between sharpenings. Spend less time sharpening and more time turning. Easily sharpened in the same way as regular HSS tools using conventional techniques or with the Robert Sorby ProEdge system. These are detailing tools used on between centre work where the grain is running parallel to the lathe bed. Spindle gouges are used to create coves, beads and other profiles on goblets, vases, bed posts, candle sticks and other spindle projects.
